Spatial cognition
since 2008
Spatial cognition is my long term research topic in the area of neuroscience. I administered series of 4 experiments that uncovers the way people think about the space. Humans are able to think about the space from different perspectives. I recorded the EEG activity of subjects navigating in the unknown virtual environment. There was different brain activity in the parietal lobe for participants who created map like representation of the space compared to participants who represent the space from their own perspective. I published 4 papers dedicated to this results. Most recent paper is here.
