I started the research of emotion classification in 2008 for Mindmetic company. The goal was to develop classifier for emotion states based on the EEG signal analysis. We develop several versions of this tool but the error rate was too high for real life application. I did similar research later at the USB with high density EEG data and source localization methods. We identify differences in several spectral bands.
